The whole industry was thrown into a mourning state yesterday by the news that the D’banj’s 1-year old son drowned in the pool located at the singer’s Ikoyi residence. Fans and celebrities sent their condolences to the family of the singer via different channels, particularly via social media.
Davido who was in the US for the 2018 BET Awards, sent his condolence to his ‘big brother’, D’banj, from the BET stage as part of his acceptance speech for the award for Best International Act; on the memorable night that saw him become the first African to receive that particular award on the BET main stage.
