Tiwa Savage Should Prove I Begged Her For Money – OAP, Misi Molu

Misi Molu reacted to the posts Tiwa Savage used to insinuate that she (Misi Molu) had earlier begged her (Tiwa Savage) for money via social media before airing her views about her talent. Tiwa Savage wrote, “Wow! They beg you for money today and talk trash tomorrow because it’s not personal; they’re just doing their job, abi?”
In another post, Tiwa stated, “Celebrities are human o. You can’t beg for money then talk trash and expect me to not catch feelings. Like, are you serious? Next time you think of sliding in my DM asking for money or anything; remember your personal opinion and miss me with your BS.”
Misi Molu reacted to these posts during an interview with Sunday Scoop. The radio personality tasked Tiwa Savage to provide proof that she begged her for money, she said, “Personally, I don’t believe she was talking about me. But if she is, she needs to show evidence to that fact. The situation has been blown way out of proportion than what the intentions of the discussion were actually meant to be. People are giving it way too much credence.”

Davido Wins Best International Act At 2018 BET Awards || CHECK FULL LIST

The singer edged out the likes of UK act, Stormzy, Tiwa Savage and Cassper Nyovest to claim the award. Davido made history with the award as he became the first African to climb the BET main stage to receive the award for Best International act.
Since BET created the category in 2011, the award was handed to the winners at the back stage. This sparked some sort of revolution led by the likes of Wizkid, Fuse OG and Yemi Alade who dissociated themselves from the award, complaining that the back stage treatment reeks of disrespect to African artistes.
Earlier this year, the organizers of the award announced a change in the manner of awarding the winners of the category. The organizers announced that the recipient of the BET Best International Act Award would now climb the main stage and yesterday night, Davido became the first winner of the award to do that.

‘Wizkid, I Want My Money Back’ – Fan Laments Over Poor Afrorepublik Performance || WATCH

While there has been so many positive feedbacks on Wizkid’s recently held Afrorepublik Festival in UK, a certain @ola_skanmi who attended the event has aired his dissident view.

On Saturday, May 26th 2018, Wizkid filled up the 20,000 capacity 02 Arena in UK, with his Afrorepublik Festival which was structured to celebrate the penetration of African music into western societies like UK.
A lot of people present at the event had words like ‘iconic’, ‘historic’, ‘ground-breaking’ and many more positive remarks to make about the show which saw performances from other African artists like Tiwa Savage, Mr. Eazi, Maleek Berry, Tekno. While UK acts like Giggs and Skepta came out to show support for Wizkid.
However, @ola_skanmi is not buying any of the plaudits given to Wizkid for the show. Contrary to what many have said, he is disappointed at the Starboy. While expressing the height of his disappointment, he was particular about Wizkid’s ‘vocal flaws.’ He posted a video on social media to pour out his frustration at the ‘shabby show’, after spending hundred of euros preparing for it. He attached a text to the video which read, ‘Wizkid please stop making babies, go and get a vocal coach u can’t sing and i want my 60 euros ticket money and 40 euros taxi back, busted wasted 100 euros.’

GospelOnDeBeat Robbed In South Africa || WATCH

Barely a week after it was reported that singer, Niniola was robbed in South Africa; producer, GospelOnDeBeat, has revealed that he recently suffered a similar attack in the same country.

GospelOnDeBeat recently shared a video on his Instagram page, which captures him narrating his ordeal in South Africa. The popular music producer said in the video that he was robbed of 7000 Rands (over 200, 000 Naira as at the time the news broke out) in his hotel room and the management of the hotel refused to release the CCTV footage that would have helped in understanding the circumstances surrounding the robbery.

Eric Many Records Slams Runtown With N267 Million Law Suit

he legal war between Runtown and Eric Many continues to intensify with new report that the label has slammed the singer with a fresh N267 million law suit at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

According to multiple sources, Runtown has a fresh N267 million-heavy law suit to deal with. This is coming after the N65 million court injunction slammed against him by his label, a few months back.
NewTelegraph quoted the label to have said;
“the new court injunction was slammed on Runtown because he is owing the label N267 million and he has not also adhered in line to deliver his album appropriately and he has deliberately tried to register the name Runtown without the label’s consent and abscond from contract.”
The same source reported that Johnson Adumike, the general manager of the label said;
“As you are aware, lately we have been in Court with Runtown over copyrights issues with regards to two collabo videos he made without our prior approval. Truly, the much-publicized legal action at the Federal High Court in Lagos was, contrary to what many believe, not on the entire contract we signed with Runtown. It was only on the unapproved collabo videos and we claimed general damages of about N65 Million for the copyright infringement.”

G-Worldwide Signs Two New Artistes

G-Worldwide Entertainment, the premier African music company, is proud to announce two new signings Ajura and Easy Jay, and introduce them into the market.

After proving themselves as confirmed leaders in the music space, with a track record of success, G-Worldwide announces the latest additions to their rosters. Easy Jay and Ajura, are the latest talents to be unveiled.
G-Worldwide Head of Artist Management, Louiza Williams said: “We are thrilled to welcome Ajura and Easy Jay to the G-Worldwide family. They have all it takes to develop and become superstars in the African music scene, and will be game-changers in dominating and bringing African music to the world. We are extremely excited to have them as a part of the team and are eager for the journey ahead.”
ABOUT AJURA
Ajura took a very unconventional route to making music. He began as a dancer.
Born Daniel Alaba Ojamomi, in Ondo State, Nigeria, he is the last child of a family of 8. Tragedy struck early when he lost his dad at 3. But he forged on.
His early education was in Kabe College, Ilogbo, where he picked up dancing as an art of expression. He would later become popular as a member of the school football team, picking up the nickname, Ojams 10
A lack of funding limited his chances of becoming a professional footballer, although he had support from his mother. But that support didn’t accompany his decision to make music.
After discovering his love for music, he dived into music production, dedicating his time and scarce resources to creating art. He was later able to start earning from his craft and providing for his family. Ajura, possessing a large heart, would later finance projects for his talented friends, paying for studio sessions and equipment. But his mother insisted on getting him more education, which he did.
In 2013, Daniel got admitted to Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, where he honed his craft, polishing his talents amassing fans via releasing and performing music. He graduated in 2016.
Ajura was signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2018. He has a diverse set of musical influences, including luminaries such as Asa, D’Banj, Wande Coal, Sugarboy, Burna Boy, Kiss Daniel, Beyonce, Akon, Chris Brown, and R. Kelly.
“He sees music as a tool and agent of change, both physically and mentally. I want to use my music to speak for the dumb, my lifestyle to influence the deaf and my sound  to open the inner eyes (minds) of the blind,” he says.
